Content Stealing

So I came across this website that is apparently taking images and metadata from this site for their own, even copying over usernames and tags. For instance, the only wallpaper I've ever made, which I only uploaded to this site, somehow found it's way to that site with MY username and the tags I assigned it. I looked at some of their other wallpapers and searched Google for the usernames associated with them only to find wallhaven links all over them.

This isn't the first time this has happened and I don't think there's much we can do about it really. We don't own 99.99% of the stuff uploaded here. I don't appreciate the fact that they took our hard work tagging this stuff and duplicated it with almost no effort. Nor would I like to have my username linked with their site, although like I said, I couldn't find it there. Seems like there's ton of stuff missing there anyway. I tried about 8 tags and nothing came up. They only have a tiny fraction of content right now. I wouldn't worry about it too much. Imitation, and in this case, theft, are the best forms of flattery.

You can't just take my name and pretend I uploaded those to your crappy site like that.

I tried the search again this time using google instead of duckduckgo(apparently their site: search didn't work for the site) and found 36 of my uploads. Those fuckers. That's probably the first time I've ever gone beyond google's first results page.

It appears they're placing author's info on the page, it can be seen in the html code, but it's hidden. Why do they even add our nicknames there?

Gandalf or AksumkA is this even possible to detect mass download like this? Like I don't know, IP addresses maybe? I mean you could put on your wizard hat and check the traffic generated by any visitor of the site, no?
