It is hard to explain. For some political and sensitive reason( It's said someone post some inappropriate pictures on this website), now the website's DNS in China is polluted and we can not view the web directly. Although some of we can use some special softwares to help us view this website(like me). Unlukily, there are still many people have no access to connect to this website. I hope we can view this website directly again in the near future.

Wallhaven is blocked in China because we have wallpapers critical of the Chinese Communist Party and Xi Jinping. We also have wallpapers that depict content that is illegal for Chinese nationals to access or view.

web porn is illegal in china and that's the main reason. Xi Jinping pictures should be fine since I didn't see any insulting ones. if admins build a sub site with only sfw pictures china won't block it. Speaking from Shenzhen.
