[Feature Request} Chrome Extension + Facebook/Google login

Two things that will increase the number of site visitors dramatically:

    1) A Chrome extension that simply links to the website (can be made in notepad in 2 mins). I'm sure it will rise to the top of the Chrome Web Store. I would make one myself but when you come to publish it, it needs to verify that you're the site owner. Here are a few tutorials on how to make it:

    2) Allowing users to login with their Facebook/Google+ accounts. As soon as the user logs-in, prompt them to share the website with their friends (which will eventually generate a chain reaction on social networks and jump from one users profile to another). I think this is not easy to make and will take a while but it will drive the number of users trough the roof. ;)

    1) I don't use Chrome and won't make an account there or anything, but maybe AksumkA does. Will have to wait until he gets back.

    2) How can I put this delicately: When hell freezes over will we consider blatantly ignoring our users' privacy. We have links to the facebook and g+ pages of wallhaven (in the footer) and that's as far as we'll go.

I agree with Gandalf. Personally I find that websites and communities that require facebook/google+ accounts to be merged is a "no go". Unless the site is actually owned or drifted by any of the two previously mentioned companies, like gmail, youtube etc. I don't want my personal name blown up around the internet on different accounts.. It's easy for hackers and everyone else to abuse the information, now or in the future. I'm not a "one username, one password" kind of guy. And you shouldn't be either in this day and age, it's naive. Do you really want Facebook and Google to own your whole internet alias?

    Just my two cents.
