Its rare, but still happens. Admins / mods to get PMs from users wanting to delete their accounts, complaining about too much porn and/or anime on the website. For such users who share their concerns, there is a simple and effective way to avoid these showing up in your searches and general browsing.
Hover over your profile > click on Settings from the drop-down menu > Go to Browsing. Here, deselect NSFW and/or Anime. Click Update button, and you are done!

For example, I do not dig Anime, so here is a screenshot of my profile where Anime is deselected. Anything posted to the Anime category never appears when I am browsing the website.
