second one has many favorites, but i'm not sure it may be used as a wallpaper. am i wrong? what do you think of vertically stretched wallpapers?

Portrait wallpapers are definitely fine. There are people who use their monitors in portrait mode plus newer phones and tablets also tend to have resolutions high enough for these wallpapers.

I was wondering if there was a way to search for only vertical/portrait wallpapers. I'm sure it's something simple I'm overlooking I just can't seem to find it. Thanks in advance.

FattyAcidTrip: Try to search for 'portrait display'. I personally tag all my portrait wall uploads with this tag.
