Limit to blacklist items?

I have 75 blacklisted tags and I'm constantly loosing tags at the end. Whenever I add a new one, one drops of the list.

I did a small test and added a number of tags but it actually looks like its a character limit(1024 max) because the last item gets chopped in half

Is this by design or a bug?

If the limit could be either completely lifted or greatly expanded it would be great.

I had the same problem in the past. That time it was by design. Like characters limit 255 or something. Hope this time they'll finally expand it to a million characters. Could you send me a message with your blacklist? It's just my interest, I too have long blacklist, but not as long as yours

The Blacklist I have is basically a bunch of names of porn stars, celebrities, reinforcing the exclusion of anime(by adding specific tiles) and generally excluding everything I dont like(some might call me overly "conservative"). Before it had all the general titles like "porn" "asian" "pornstar" "weed" "drugs" and things like that but they got eliminated thanks to the limit.

I mean I like girls but I dont want to be bombarded with asses and boobs all day.

As of now my blacklist makes me look like a racist because only recently I've started adding tags like "bollywood" "indian" and the names of foreign people while the ones at the bottom started getting deleted. SO for now I'll keep the blacklist to myself.

You just gave me an idea:

In the tags section all tags are grouped. If we had the option to black list "tag groups" we could block "pornstars" and all tags in [url]http://alpha.wallhaven.cc/tags/52[/url] would be blacklisted.

Yes it would be another blacklist but it would have the effect we look for by adding hundreds of individual names

instead of adding tons of celebrity names I could just add "celebrities" and all these would be blocked: [url]http://alpha.wallhaven.cc/tags/48[/url]

I hope the admins could give us an answer soon.

The way we're currently indexing wallpapers won't let us do blacklisting of categories.

As for the limits, we don't want to expand it too much due to performance concerns, but we may be able to give it another bump.

A 2048 character or even 4096 character limit would be absolutely phenomenal. For now I'll just have to use more general tags instead of specific ones

Regardless of the limit and whether or not its getting expanded, a small message notifying users of the limit would avoid any further confusion regarding "disappearing tags".

dominique120 it won't work not only because tags have no hierarchy, but also because people often don't bother themselves by adding more tags than just the name of the model they've just fapped on. Even worse if they create a new tag for this only one wallpaper.
