Over the past few months, I've uploaded quite a few of 1200x800 wallpapers, but since the new update, with the change in minimum resolution from 1200x800 x 1280x801, my wallpapers turn out to be blurry when I edit them. Can I know why this change happened?

To rule out low-res images. I guess mods have reasons to believe that vast majority of people use HD+ monitors (1280x800 and more). You can use waifu2x when upscaling anime images. When upscaling photos, it might help to use something like the "Lanczos" resampling, instead of the standard bilinear. Obviously I wouldn't encourage you to upload blurry images, but I agree it sucks when you're 80 pixels away from hitting the limit.
