    Long answer: All rights of reproduction and distribution are likely owned by the creators (artists or companies), in that case you can contact them to license their properties for a fee. There are open licensed pictures in other websites that can be used according to the wording of those other licenses. There are images or concepts that are contained in the public domain. You should consult your local laws and codes first, and then international copyright law, and then check if any of the images you want to use fit any of the categories described before. Small business often get overlooked because no big company or artist wants to take the food out of children's mouths... but there are exceptions as well because letting one person or company use your property for profit constitutes precedent in most legal frameworks.

    It depends on the source. Stock images are royalty free and can be used on commerical advertising eg shutterstock or depositphoto
