I don't understand this feature. How does this work exactly and how does it help? If I subscribe to something I want to be notified when something new is uploaded or tagged with this subscription and if that subscription is deleted after 6 months I'm going to miss it.

Or does it mean that the subscription itself is not deleted but the notification that is older than 6 months will?
