The simple fact of the matter is this, the website already has a built in function for separating SFW and NSFW wallpapers, and even goes the extra step to add a 'Sketchy' listing for the monumental grey area between SFW/NSFW, something most sites do not, and will not ever do.

These features alone render any need for removal of 'overly sexual' images not only pointless but utterly redundant. If the concern is that all the nudity people may be exposed to if they make an account, verify the account, and then enable NSFW, even needing to change their ccount settings from default values in order to avoid having to re-enable NSFW content with every subsequent login, unfounded, and quite frankly ridiculous.

If people are believing this site is 'losing value' as a wallpaper hosting service because of the nudity, then just disable it's ability to be shown to you, don't arbitrarily try to force your views on others.

    ...Just sayin'.

You're missing the important part how broad "NSFW" is. The site was slowly reaching the point where the obviously porn pictures became nearly inevitable if you had NSFW enabled. I might like wallpapers with tags like "lingerie", "bed" or "wet body" which do leave a fair chance they will be NSFW, but then you have no way of filtering out the pretty/classy ones from the full-on porn ones with spread legs and all.

Practically speaking, the only solution I would see to that is... a fourth category. But then you reach the common sense point: why do you need a "porn" category on a wallpaper website?

It's pretty simple and logical when you break it down to practical matters.

They do have a filter for that, and explained it pretty plainly, it's called 'Sketchy'.

The way filters are now is enough, but you can't put nudity in Sketchy. So artistic nudity goes into NSFW, but you can't have porn there along with them. So porn, should it exist, would go in another category. But we don't need that in here.

That's my point basically and I find it quite baffling how many people have trouble grasping that.

NSFWYou need to be logged in to view this wallpaper.

Again? Pic doesn't fit any of the violations.

What's the difference between these two wallpapers? Your is here.

    https://wallhaven.cc/w/96k2y8

And one of mine which got deleted earlier and there was quite a lot of them in total.

    https://imgur.com/cHPtUyS

    And another worth mentioning.

    https://wallhaven.cc/w/eyve3l https://wallhaven.cc/w/6k2yz7 https://wallhaven.cc/w/3977g3

They're the same, you can see the pussy on both of them, not spreading legs, no closeup nor masturbation, not stretching genitals, it's not a photo from porn shoots etc.

I'm reporting wallpapers which are similar to mine deleted walls but they're getting cleaned. What the phuck? I feel the admins remove it as much as they like.

I'm done with this site and this bullshit rules, it was a lot better 4 years ago. This page went to shit like for real.

  • 20841

@BoSsFiNaL4sRaT says he reported a wallpaper (last one) that is literally from a porn website and didn't make it as porn.

  • 20879

kejsirajbek I think you should delete them all because you already deleted a lot of them similar or the same as the ones that you posted. I'm getting notifications about deleting my walls for the past half year. As I said before you remove it as much as you like and this only proves it. How about to delete all of my wallpapers and wipe the whole account too? Do me a favour. Nothing lasts forever.

ranisalt I reported shit ton of wallpapers from porn shoots, not all of them were deleted, some were cleaned and I'm not gonna report them all over and over again. There is still a lot of porn shoots walls and no one really cares so why should I? Not anymore, not anymore..

And another thing that really makes me wonder. This one got deleted because of "amateur content". How so? https://imgur.com/SOBCWOF

Two minutes later I found these, how are they different? https://wallhaven.cc/w/2e639y https://wallhaven.cc/w/g81wle https://wallhaven.cc/w/dgv8kg https://wallhaven.cc/w/oxjz5p https://wallhaven.cc/w/lmgwqq

    @BoSsFiNaL4sRaT

    1. I am not the only person who can delete wallpapers so you can't tell what I've deleted and what I haven't.
    2. Strange thing is that I can see that your latest deleted wallpaper is from july 2018. Can you tell me when that 'amateur' been deleted?
    3. Keep reporting wallpapers that are against the rules.
    4. All staff members are doing their ''job'' here in spare time and it takes a lot of time to deal with reported wallpapers!
  • 20881

@BoSsFiNaL4sRaT Your wallpaper that was deleted 5 days ago for amateur content was taken down by the site owner, not kej. It seems like within the past year only 2 wallpapers have been deleted, unless I missed something in your deleted wallpaper log (everything else comes up as saying 1 year ago). So it's really not often that you have issues, as the number of lifetime deletes/merges is low in comparison to your upload count. As for reports we do appreciate it, but in reality wallhaven is understaffed and only a select few can truly delete wallpapers. So it takes time to get through the massive backlog.

kejsirajbek His report log is a bit out of whack. It's not chronological, but mixed up for some reason.

Don't take this personal. When we say "you" removed it, it's because this website has absolute zero transparency about the report system. We don't know who the mods are, who removed our content and reason so we can't try and get a better explanation.

kejsirajbek you are the only mod frequently answering questions here (thanks a lot for that!), why don't the others do such? I know you are volunteers on spare time but uploaders are too so there's some dedication required here. Maybe a crowdsourced moderation tool might help you?

Looks like some moderators don't read the rules... Another pic deleted for being overly sexual.

why do you people upload porn here like at all... :D if you want to jerk off go watch some porn or download pics from some porn site... :D why do we need this here at all? :D except for the ones that meant to be some form of art involving nudity...

good thing this is hardly tolerated here, I don't want this site to be eaten by prews who newer got laid, and all they do is spreading they fetishes all over the internet while hiding behind some colorful pony "avatar" I mean it always these ones that have a pony in their avatar is this cult of some sort ? :D

Edit: I don't mean of think that op is the one here.

Just out of curiosity, do you realize that other users can see your uploads as well as your favorites?

This is funny, this wallpaper has been deleted for the reason of Overly Sexual, probably because of an "overly sexual pose". But it's funny because this is how I also sleep often; and I don't think I sleep sexually.

    https://imgur.com/a/PPWla0t

I would ask the person who reported this, in what position do you sleep?

Do y'all have a contingency in the works pertaining to wallpapers that depict sexual or overly sexual interaction between two or more people?

    https://wallhaven.cc/w/nm98py for an example.

Obviously it's implied that two people engaging in full-blown sexual intercourse are prohibited under the Overly Sexual rule, but do y'all have an answer yet for other forms of sexual interaction up to and including:

French kissing (Including extreme close-ups or focus) Nipple licking

I ask so that I can report wallpapers responsibly and not get banned again for reporting the wrong thing; thanks!

  • 21260

    @Wurmfleisch

I unbanned your reporting ban about 2 months ago since it didn't look like you were given an initial warning. If you are still banned from reporting despite our system saying you aren't, please tell us so the site admin can fix that.

  • 21261

    404011xz

Oh no I'm unbanned and I'm very appreciative of that! Thanks again!

I was just saying that I would like to stay that way, so I'm asking questions and gathering information on what is the best and most efficient way to be a part of the community and report inappropriate wallpapers without accidentally reporting material that is not breaking rules.

I just need help with some of the ambiguity to do a better job.

  • 21265

This wallpaper was reported and deleted for the reason of "Broken Rule (hands on genitals)". But you can see that the hand is not touching genitals, it's hovering over... it's just strategic covering.

    https://wallhaven.cc/w/vgvoll

    @Wurmfleisch

Did you report this? If so, then would you please explain?

  • 21270

    lumberjacck

Please do not try to figure out who reported a wallpaper. It was not them, and we will not tell you who did so.

Of course, I don't expect that... I just wanted some explanation, if possible; that's all.
